<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>This is an AS NEEDED position. Must be flexible. Sunday thru Saturday. Hours are flexible. Could work into full time. GENERAL STATEMENT OF FUNCTIONS - Responsible for documentation, supervision, and instruction of clients in an independent placement or group vocational setting. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Assists in job development, coordinates transportation and other support for client employment as necessary, provides instruction on equipment, job duties and safety at job site, assists in developing client objectives and client assessments, maintains documentation on services provided and client progress, applies behavior modification programs, advocates for the client at the work place, attends and participates in assigned meetings, other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, EDCUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - 21 years or older, valid California Drivers License, acceptable driving record, state minimum required auto insurance, reliable transportation, CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment, ability to communicate well with others, ability to role model socially appropriate behavior and attitude for clients in a work setting, availability and ability to work a flexible schedule, high school diploma, five years work experience, PHYSICAL ABILITIES - Ability to physically demonstrate or work along side clients in a variety of entry-level positions, sitting, walking and standing are a part of daily routine while instructing or observing the consumer, dexterity to reach for and handle materials at various jobs,fingering skills to complete paperwork, sense of feeling for temperature and safety, coordination for lifting carrying, climbing and balancing, coordination for stooping, reaching, crouching, and crawling, good vision and hearing to relate effectively with clients and employers. MENTAL ABILITIES - Capacity to interpret instructions and communicate to client, math skills to complete required paperwork, ability to meet deadlines and ensure timely submission of information requested, good judgment to advocate, recognize safety hazards, and apply appropriate behavior modification techniques. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP - Reports to Team Leader. SUPERVISES - Clients. POSITION CLASSIFICATION - Non-exempt. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE - Flexible work schedule.
