Job Summary
The Inside Sales Specialist provides sales support and telemarketing for an assigned geographic region.  They generate revenue by securing opportunities for product demonstrations, creating customer proposals, and working closely with the sales team.  He/she works with sales and marketing proactively assisting with lead generation, cold-calling, scheduling product demonstrations, internet research and data mining, developing sales quotations, diligently maintaining the customer database, and providing ongoing customer contact and closing opportunities.
Background and Skills Required
Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-3 years progressive business-to-business sales experience
Prior experience selling high technology products and services
Demonstrated ability to overcome sales barriers
High levels of initiative, confidence, organization and follow-through
Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities
Prior experience building and maintaining a customer database with contact management software
Ability to successfully interface  collaborate with outside sales and all other departments
Demonstrated drive and focus to consistently meet or exceed monthly quotas
Proficient internet search skills to prospect for customers
Strong computer skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience with SalesForce management software strongly preferred
Manufacturing and high technology selling experience strongly preferred
Associates Degree preferred
