You must be able to work efficiently with little to no direction, complete assignments effectively, and possess excellent communication skills. Experience working in a food manufacturing environment with electrical and mechanical maintenance is also required. This is a permanent position, reporting to the Head Maintenance Technician at the facility.Duties and Responsibilities:* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems promptly, such as conveyors, gear boxes and other industrial equipment* Coordinating with prior shift regarding outstanding maintenance items* Refurbishing, adjusting, and setting up production machinery* Preventative maintenance* Complete all necessary documentation regarding maintenance and safety processes and procedures* Other duties as assignedWorking hours: - Rotating Weekly Schedules:¿ Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday ¿ 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.¿ Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday ¿ 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.Requirements:* 5+ years of working electrical and mechanical experience in a food manufacturing facility* Experience with troubleshooting and repair of conveyors, gear boxes and packaging equipment* Understanding of GMPs and Food Safety* Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision* Must be able to communicate effectively with production line workers and management* Ability to multitask and have excellent follow up and follow through* Ability to take initiative* Ability to follow direction* Position requires background check and drug test* Experience with basic trouble shooting of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus* Welding experience is a plus* High school diploma or equivalent* Must be 18 years or olderSalary/Benefits:- Direct hire position- Rotating Weekly Schedules:--Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday - 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.--Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday - 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.- Pay: Hourly position: $17/hr. to $21/hr. depending on experience- Benefits including but not limited to: Medical PPO, Dental, Vision, Vacation Pay, Sick Time, and 401K.Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
