<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other technical discipline plus a minimum of six years of direct experience. One year of experience may be substituted for each year of education not completed. Applicants must have knowledge of DoD, Air Force, and other Government standards. Individuals will provide IT Security support to 14 AF, JFCC Space, 614 ACOMS, 614 AOC and other organizations.  Must be capable of multi-tasking and supporting multiple projects.
Requires technical knowledge and experience implementing Network Management and Security solutions for desktop and server network technologies. Performs assessments of complex computer network security/protection technologies for information and network systems/applications and applies security solutions to ensure systems meet DIACAP Information Assurance security controls. Identifies vulnerabilities, evaluates associated risks and threats, and performs network vulnerability scans and analysis to identify security vulnerabilities and provides recommended re mediation alternatives.  Serves as the technical lead responsible for IT security incident response activities to include intrusion detection, scanning, cyber threat reporting, and development/implementation of vulnerability mitigation strategies. Leads security risk assessments to ensure compliance with DIACAP security policies.  Evaluates new and existing systems and determines compliance against DIACAP security policies and DISA security technical implementation guides. Serves as a high level technical security resource on large-scale network and/or systems/applications issues. Unix knowledge is desired but not required.  Knowledge of implementing DIACAP IA controls and Certification and Accreditation packages. Must have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer-facing skills along with the ability to inspire and encourage team members. Ideal candidates will be self motivated and be able to meet project deadlines with minimal to no supervision. This position requires a Security Plus certification. CCNA, MCSE, MCP+I and A+ certifications are a plus.
Must have a valid California drivers license. Must have and be able to and retain a TS/SCI security clearance.
