<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Title 403 (g) Maintenance TechnicianAuto req ID 12749BRCBS Business Unit CBS Television NetworkDivision/Station COEDepartment / Business Unit Technical OperationsLocation California - Los AngelesJob Description CBS Television City is seeking an experienced Studio Maintenance Technician to work in our state of the art television production studios.The position will work as part of the CBS studio maintenance team to execute both live and recorded television shows and media productions. The position is responsible for the set-up, configuration, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of a broad spectrum of sophisticated electronic television production systems and equipment.Technical planning capability, participation in production meetings, and the ability to interact and communicate at a high level with technical staff, production personnel, managers, and co-workers is required. The position will develop and build technical studio architecture based on production elements and requirements and will be the technical lead during show production.The position will interact with outside vendors, service organizations, and operational/service manuals as needed to facilitate equipment configuration and system repairs. Required Skills/Experience At least (2) years current experience in the repair, set-up and maintenance of TV Studio production equipment is required. The candidate should have detailed familiarity with camera, switcher, router, communication and audio systems as applied to large scale TV production facilities. Advanced computer skills are required, including an understanding of computer networking and client-server applications as used in broadcasting and television production studios .Minimum educational requirements: AA Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience in a studio or broadcasting environment.Preferred Skills/Experience Minimum educational requirements: AA Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience in a studio or broadcasting environment.Minimum Education Level Associates DegreeAdditional Candidate Instructions Job Status Full Time
