PURPOSETo perform a variety of duties related to providing security screening of cargo for movement to airports and/or aircraft. Responsible for identifying dangerous objects, explosives, incendiaries in baggage and cargo to prevent those objects from being transported onto an aircraft. Oversees the screening checkpoint and designated screening area on a daily basis, scheduling an adequate number of Screeners to provide efficient screening of all cargo. Supervises all screening and accountability of cargo. Works closely with Screeners, Alternate Representatives, Site Manager, Airport Security Staff, and Law Enforcement Personnel. Directs work of employees, assigning tasks, monitoring and evaluating performance. Enforces the TSA Alternate Procedures and the EAGLE (SOP) Standard Operating Procedures. Participates in informational, procedural and personnel briefings and exchanges. Maintains communication with management regarding all issues in regards to the EAGLE cargo security screening operation.MUST HAVE CARGO AT X-RAY Exp. TO BE CONSIDERED.2. DESCRIPTION
