JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The Clinical and Customer Care Specialist is the primary customer support person within their territory. They work very closely with their partners in Sales and Service providing clinical expertise throughout the sales and implementation process. The CCS is the central customer contact for all their clinical applications needs.
As Project Manager, youll lead the implementation of new IRIS instrumentation in the customers lab to drive the installation, validation and go-live processes The project team consists of representatives from Sales, Service, and the laboratory ie. Director/Manager, Information Technology, etc..
Manage the correlation process assuring all studies are performed, analyzed and returned to the customer in a timely manner with the primary objective of bringing customers up to routine usage of Iris products.
Manage the existing customer base by phone and on-site visits to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Be the point of escalation for customer issues and provide counsel for clinical operations reagent matters.
Be the customers advocate by using effective communication techniques to inform appropriate Iris personnel i.e. Sales, Service, and Marketing of their concerns, ensuring that they are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Identify potential sales opportunities and maintain consistent communications with your sales partner.
Assists in sales support demonstrations/evaluations and attend conventions, as assigned, in an effort to promote the Iris product offering.
Uses technical skills and customer feedback to assist in new product development providing input into the Marketing and the RD processes.
Please note this position serves the GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA. CCS positions may become available in other locations.
Required Experience
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years hospital laboratory experience or field application experience in the clinical diagnostics industry prior teaching or training experience highly desired.
Required Education
BS/AA Medical Technology or related science, MT ASCP or MLT ASCP Registration or equivalent required.
