Your ideas are our fuel.Based in Los Angeles, California, you will support the Los Angeles Maintenance site by identifying business improvement opportunities. You will apply business process improvement techniques, such as Business Planning, Lean Manufacturing and Maintenance as well as Six Sigma, to assess, improve and govern the operational performance of the project.In your role you will:- Work closely with the Site Management Team to create and implement a Business Improvement Plan to enable the creation of standardized processes;- Continuously aim for improvements in productivity/efficiency of the maintenance and overhaul process through;- Provide the maintenance and overhaul teams with support regarding the elimination of process waste utilizing dynamic problem solving techniques;- Support new design introduction and design for maintenance/overhaul;- Support the development of maintenance and overhaul processes to optimize service availability and TAKT time;- Develop Standard Maintenance Process (SMP) information;- Understand and capture latest industry innovations and best practices both within Bombardier worldwide and in outside industry.You will have the opportunity to work with local project teams, at all levels, to develop integrated supporting management processes/procedures. You also will be a mentor to educate and motivate teams, and individuals, to implement agreed improvements.
