Support activities include conducting inspections and audits of field operations and communicating results, monitoring and reporting of environmental, use permit and SMARA agency inspections, preparation of monthly regulatory activity reports, collection of monitoring data, coordination and reporting of annual financial assurance estimates, annual emissions inventories and water reports, waste manifests, reclamation bonds, RECLAIM reports and other various reporting obligations. This position also requires review of active permits and applicable federal and state planning, reclamation, and environmental laws and regulations. Training will involve developing materials and oral presentation on land use and environmental issues to both small and large groups.
