Top performers deserve top pay-If You have the Drive, We have the Vehicle.Job Summary:The Human Resource Specialist provides human resources support in multiple areas inclusive of HR administration (job postings, recruiting, pre-employment screening, associate orientation, compliance, and other HR documentation) for all assigned dealership locations and serves as the liaison for the national payroll Coordinators located at the shared service center.Job Responsibilities:o Assist hiring managers in the recruitment and selection of qualified candidates for open positions at assigned dealershipso Monitor pre-employment testing and assessments for new hireso Completes all new hire documentation in compliance with AutoNation standards and government regulationso Conducts new hire orientationo Coordinates completion of PAF documents as necessary and based on approval requirementso Monitors the status of associates on leave of absence, including workers compensationo Ensure the proactive identification and resolution of associate relations issueso Ensure that timely and accurate distribution of associate related communicationso Meets with department managers at all assigned dealerships regarding turnover and open positionso Ensure dealership level compliance with AutoNation standardized HR processes, procedures and approval requirementso Answer any HR policy questionso Follow up on performance improvement plans and work on any compliance issueso Investigate reports and resolve associate complaints and issueso Serves as the liaison with other departments, dealerships, region and or corporate in the resolution of HR related issueso Conducts annual benefits enrollment and 401K presentation meetings for assigned dealershipso Coordinates and monitors associate training and may conduct training in selected areaso Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company''s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and supplierso Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standardsRequired ExperienceQualifications:o Must meet company''s requirements for employmento Minimum of two to three years HR related experienceo In-depth understanding of HR processes and HR related regulationso Previous experience addressing and resolving associate relations issueso Able to perform in a fast paced and flexible environmento Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and Office)o Excellent communication and presentation skillso Must have a valid drivers licensePhysical Requirements & Working Conditions:o Normal office environmento Prolonged periods of personal computer usage and data entryo Ability to operate an automobileCompensationAt AutoNation you''ll find unlimited income potential, paid time off, training, longevity bonuses, 401(k) program - with company match, health, dental, life, and disability insurance, employee vehicle purchase program and fantastic advancement opportunities.CommentsPut your Career in the Fast Lane join AutoNation todayWe are an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.Job ID: 136349apply
