Invest in you!The Human Resources Communication Specialist position is an opportunity to join a stable and growing organization in a critical role that will develop messaging for the entire organization. We are looking for a Human Resources Communication Specialist that can partner with managers across different lines of business to identify the needs and developing messaging for internal communications. The Human Resources Communication Specialist will have the opportunity to work with traditional, online, and social media formats on projects that support robust internal communications.The Human Resources Communication Specialist position on the HR Communications team drives various HR Communications projects and messages, including print, email and web-based employee and targeted management communications. The Human Resources Communication Specialist will work closely with HR Managers, team members and other bank leaders to produce communications designed to introduce new programs and initiatives, reinforce existing programs and initiatives, and spotlight employee success to help promote an engaged and informed workforce. The incumbent will also be involved in Web communications strategy to ensure HR topics are maximized and accessible to the employee audience.The Human Resources Communication Specialist will play a very important role in representing the HR Communications team and HR on critical projects, developing solid relationships across HR and the bank, and managing multiple communications projects, simultaneously.Major Responsibilities:* Work with HR and other internal clients to understand needs for communication and to develop and write communication pieces, including conducting and necessary interviews or research.* May include writing targeted emails, as well as developing articles for the Intranet, Internal magazine and HR newsletter* Facilitate approvals for relevant communications to be published across various communication vehicles (print, online, broadcast video) and manage production for selected print and online/electronic publications.* Support communications on the bank''s acquisition strategy* Work with SVP of HR Systems and Planning to introduce a new strategy for presenting HR information on the Intranet* A minimum of 5-7 years of experience producing high-quality communications materials.* The candidate must have the maturity to work independently, be proactive yet highly accountable, exercise good judgment in difficult situations, and be a valuable member of a broader team.* Ability to interface effectively and strategically with senior management and peers throughout the company.* Position requires high degree of creativity and ability to frame HR messages in a manner that supports communications objectives, while providing compelling content.* Strong, proven writing and oral communications skills.* Ability to work with others in the company to gain approvals of materials to be published; a process that requires an ability to accept criticism and create consensus while maintaining high-quality editorial standards.* Must have flexibility to work in varied media on a wide variety of subjects.* Banking or financial services background highly desirable.* College degree (journalism, communicatio
