Assures safety and change control requirements are approved prior to scheduling. Define weekly maintenance work schedule and get "buy-in" from manufacturing maintenance coordinators and maintenance supervisors.* Convert maintenance work requests to "Ready to Schedule" in the JD Edwards One-World (JDE) system as needed.* Prepare planned job packages based on Manufacturing and Maintenance priorities including Change Control documentation approval prior to scheduling.* Prepare and have approved change control documentation for Preventative and predictive maintenance as needed. Check to make sure initiator has completed the required change control documentation for all other maintenance.* Assure Work Request field accuracy in JDE.* Daily update equipment history files and other appropriate feedback in JDE.* Convert the new Work Request to a planned Work Order in JDE.* Deciding the level of planning applied to the Work Order. Scoping the job and recording the decisions on the Job Planning Checklist as needed.* Estimating the labor hours needed to perform the work for each Work Order.* Determining parts and material requirements for each Work Order and provide information to store room for work order preparation.* Providing a cost estimate to include labor, materials and contractor services.
