The candidate will repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery and pipeline distribution system with minimal supervision.Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for repairs to the physical plant and all related equipment. Assures that all machine tool repairs are within manufacturers guidelines.Record keeping of equipment and process of preventative and scheduled maintenance. Records repairs and maintenance performed.Confers with operators and observes, tests, and evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction.Disassembles machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.Repairs, replaces, adjusts and aligns components of machinery and equipment.Fabricates replacement parts. Welds to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.Test-runs repaired machinery and equipment to verify adequacy of repairs.Use electrical test equipment.Examines parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.Cleans and lubricates parts, equipment, and machinery.Preferred Qualifications:
