This position provides security expertise, threat assessments, and management of security operations for all Tesoro business units and staff functions in assigned region. This position will develop and implement Company policies and procedures that comply with federal guidelines and standards. This role will also formulate and manage security capital and expense budgets for region in collaboration with site management.
Key Responsibilities
* Establishes strategies, priorities, and critical tasks relating to security at assigned sites and along distribution channels. Develops protection required by each site and distribution channel including procedures, training, equipment, visitor and access controls, security communications and information sharing. Manages facility security programs and security personnel in coordinate with facility management.
* Conducts and reports Security Vulnerability Assessments. Implements security measures to mitigate vulnerabilities. Ensures compliance with applicable regulations.
* Implements company Anti-Violence Workplace and loss prevention policies. Supports corporate Business Conduct office by managing and performing quality investigations.
* Implements security awareness training programs.
* Interacts with law enforcement and Homeland Security officials.
* Develops, implements and maintains complex and diverse security procedures consistent with applicable regulations and company policies. Coordinates extensively with management and other Corporate Security team members.
* Manages regions assets and personnel.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum Requirements
Education
* Minimum undergraduate degree in criminal justice, law enforcement or security required.
Experience
* Minimum 10 years civilian and/or government security experience.
