Type: Full TimeMore information about this job:Responsibilities:The Product Sales Specialist serves as the domain and industry expert for Nuance Healthcare solutions, providing demonstrations and in-depth knowledge during the sales process. Primary responsibilities include pre-qualifying leads, analyzing and presenting ROI opportunities, building client relationships, client presentations, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitors. The Sales Specialist is a team player who works across boundaries to participate in marketing strategy, professional services efforts, and directly selling into the healthcare channel in a team approach.* Engage and build relationships with healthcare executives, physician and clinical staff to understand challenges and communicate how Nuance Healthcare solutions can help* Provide high level strategic presentations as well as go in-depth into solution areas to demonstrate and discuss features* Gather financial and clinical data to analyze and determine ROI to be included in the sales quoting process* Work in tangent with internal sales teams and executive team to strategize on closing business* Work closely with professional services post sale for smooth transition of the customer relationship and to drive additional revenue opportunities.* Travel to include new business prospects and organic customer prospects, industry conference and trade show attendance. Travel 50-60%* Must be familiar and stay current with HITECH, JACHO, CMS and state regulations as applicable to HIT functionality, quality metrics, reimbursement standards, CDI, etc.Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Nuance Healthcare solutions by sharing knowledge gained in the fieldQualifications:* Good listening/writing and oral communication skills; excellent presentation skills.* Must be familiar with the hospital IT and HIM environment* Experience working with Healthcare Information Technology solutions* Insight into the complexities of physician relationship with HIT and HIM environments a plus* Willingness to travel 50-60%* Microsoft Windows skills required, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel* Strong desire to make a difference in healthcare quality, safety and efficiency on a broad scale* Experience working with physicians and Electronic Health Record systems implementation* Knowledge of Hospital Reimbursement and Clinical Documentation Improvement process* Knowledge of Hospital Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement process* BA or BS Degree in Related Health Care Field, Marketing, Business preferred.We offer a competitive compensation package; including stock options, employee stock purchase plan, 401(k), full health and welfare benefits and a casual yet technically challenging work environment.
