development and deployment in complex client
environments. Successful candidates will
demonstrate deep security and platform technology
expertise. The candidate will provide
recommendations to be incorporated into the Unisys
solutions increasing the competitive nature of the
Unisys security portfolio. Candidate
responsibilities extends into the proposal and
project phases where the candidates extensive
knowledge and background will enhance the proposal
teams competitive win position by providing
alternative network design and technology
concepts.
In this role, you will do the following
Review the Unisys portfolio and prepare a trade-
off and benefits analysis concerning improvements
that could be made to the Unisys portfolio to
lower delivery risk, shorten delivery cycles and
increase competitiveness of the Unisys portfolio.
Act as a security subject matter expert for
Unisys clients and Account Teams in developing
strategies and solutions to enhance the security
posture of client environments.
Assist in proposal development, trade-off
analysis act as the Solution Managers voice in
moving forward with approved strategies and
proposal win tactics.
Prepare alternatives and recommendations on
security and network strategy recommendations to
solution management.
Assist Unisys in developing and maintaining
strong product and service vendor relationships
Work with third party Alliance Management in
putting agreed strategies and actions in place
using a technology agnostic approach with a focus
on the Unisys portfolio profitability and
deliverability.
Day to Day Work
Provide direct support to Solution Management,
proposal and delivery activities on a Global
Basis.
Work with the North American Security Practice
Directors to develop technology trade-offs
including return on investment justification for
recommended actions.
- Work closely with sales, field delivery and
engineering to provide guidance in relation to
proposal technical approach and proposal content
including but not limited to cost models,
technical delivery plans, technical solution, risk
identification and risk mitigation.
- Work with Unisys Alliance Management on best fit
solutions to enhance the Unisys portfolio.
- Present at customer, media and analyst events as
a senior representative of the proposal or project
team
