<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Large Retailer Distribution center in Riverside, California is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to become part of their Team!
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Perform inspection, preventative maintenance and repairs in an efficient and timely manner in order to meet customer expectations.
Ensuring all trailers meet Federal Highway Inspections FHWA and DOT regulations
Timely and accurately troubleshoot and repair lighting, suspension, flooring, chassis, brakes, tires, A.B.S inspection and repair, roll doors, body repair, change filters and oil and air systems on trailers.
Complete work orders and related paperwork properly and in a timely manner.
Other miscellaneous duties as designated by the Management team
Required
Perform all work in a safe manner.
Understand and follow operating instructions for various tools and equipment.
Follow good housekeeping standards.
Ability to write concise work orders that mirror work performed on a daily basis.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience in Trailer maintenance and repair and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
DOT certified in FHWA Inspections
