Responsibilities include but are not limited to the development, coordination, facilitation, analysis and validation of all programs for all levels of associates.This includes conducting classes, training trainers, facilitating classes, record keeping, and assessment of all training efforts. Types of training include but is not limited to structured job training, vendor/contractor training, learning maps, safety and PEO training, supervisory development, J.I.T. Program. Maintenance Progression Program, core competency, new hire orientation training, and Q. A. training. Fosters a safe work environment and ensures all quality standards are met. In the performance of purchasing functions, consideration and outreach will be extended to small businesses, including minority and women-owned firms.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for driving the site training efforts. Assesses capabilities and analyzes success of training programs. Works with all levels and departments, both locally and divisionally, to understand current and future needs of workforce. Works with various internal and external groups to develop, implement and evaluate effectiveness of all training plans. Ensures all training is completed on time and within budget established.Develop and update all training materials. Maintains library, supplies and resources. Sources new vendors, resources and trainers, when needed. Selects or develops teaching aids to aid student''s learning and retention of material, using various learning techniques. Selects or develops testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of training. Identifies key trainers in plant and conducts Train-the-Trainer classes as well as assist in the delivery of materials to the hourly and salaried workforce.Develops and maintains record keeping system that provides relevant information concerning training content, activities, attendance and evaluation. Develop and maintain a departmental qualification checklist for all employees.Works with HR (local and divisional) to coordinate and maintain Leadership Development Courses and Nestle required programs.Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation Training.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Acquire and maintain all applicable certifications necessary to assist with or provide factory training programs.Assist various departments in securing training requests. Assists and coach associates on other learning opportunities outside the factory.Assist Human Resource team in various human resource, safety and training activities not limited to main duties and responsibilities.Other duties as assignedEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION:Bachelor''s Degree in Business, Human Resource Development or Training.EXPERIENCE:2 + years of experience coordinating, developing and/or facilitating training programs.Proficient in all MS Office applications.SKILLS:Ability to work overtime or alternate schedule as needed.Ability to prioritize and coordinate a variety of tasks and ensure accuracy of information.Ability to analyze, link and correlate data.
