We&rsquo;re seeking a Food Service General Manager at Fremont-Rideout Health Group in Marysville, CA. FRHG is a non-profit community-based system comprised of two acute-care, not-for-profit hospitals: Rideout Memorial Hospital, and Fremont Medical Center. Leading the food and nutrition services for this 127 total bed facility, the General Manager will be the single point of contact for client liaison and will manage a Clinical Nutrition Manager, an Executive Chef and 54 client frontline employees.The ideal candidate will be well versed in food service operations, food and labor cost controls, while also having a passion for Patient Satisfaction results. The ability to articulate ideas, thoughts, opinions, professionally and clearly within all levels of the organization is critical. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:* Integrate fully within our client''s organization becoming a trusted advisor and member of the accounts leadership team* Achieve continuous improvement in patient satisfaction scores* Meeting (or exceeding) Sodexo standards of operations (Gold Check) Qualifications for our General Manager include prior GM level experience in an acute care facility, a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics or being a Certified Dietary Manager.Position Summary:Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract.
