<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Financial Analyst, Operations (Menlo Park, CA)-7786121023DescriptionAcclarent, a member of Johnson & Johnson''s Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Financial Analyst, Operations located in Menlo Park, CA.Acclarent is a global medical device company dedicated to the development of innovative products to further meet the needs of ENT surgeons and their patients.The Financial Analyst will provide daily support to the Operations team. This position will be responsible for the accurate accounting of inventory transactions including inventory reserves, maintaining/updating standard costs, and the timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities, including monthly budget vs. actual variance analyses. This position will report to the Operations Finance Supervisor.The Financial Analyst is a primary contact for the Operations team for day to day activities such as work order processing, standard cost updates, budget updates and inventory management.  This position will help develop the annual forecast and budgets for the Operations overhead spend budgets. Manage the capital budget and prepare reports/analysis for internal and corporate. This position will lead the process for developing material and labor standards and entering updated standards in QAD during the annual standards update. This position will be responsible for preparing monthly reconciliations of trunk stock and providing support to the Field Sales team in managing trunk stock. Month-end close activities including measuring labor and overhead in WIP, booking inventory adjustments related to reconciliations, measuring labor time spent on R&D projects, analyzing production variances associated with manufacturing work orders, analysis of excess and obsolete inventory, Full Absorption, and proactively working with the Operations team to resolve potential BOM/processing issues. This position is responsible for providing management with analyses of other period cost of goods sold accounts and ad hoc analyses.QualificationsA minimum of a bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. A CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications are preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of finance/accounting or related business experience is required. Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries in a manufacturing environment as well as public accounting experience is preferred. Excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills are required. The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required. The individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
