This individual will work with project management, product management, operations, procurement, quality, and other functions as required by project to support and sustaining of EPS products. It is essential for this individual to be capable of and enjoy working with multiple projects and manage them to completion as required by the business. Preferred candidate should be experienced in designing/developing interconnection components used in aerospace, defense and/or marine (military and large maritime vessels) market place. Some of these components include, for example, electrical connectors, accessories, contacts, insulation components, mechanical components, etc. Candidate must be fluent in using modeling software, ProE by PTC and its modules. Working knowledge or ProMechanica would be helpful. Other areas of working knowledge include machining processes, polymer processing, high performance polymers, plating and other finishing materials and processing, and other areas commonly used in the design and support products offered by the business unit. The following is a list of (not limited to) requirements and responsibilities of this job:.Key Responsibilities:* Work within a ‘simultaneous’ team environment to design and build robust product and processes, developing, commercializing and sustaining components to meet customer and market needs.* Product engineering to support developing products from other product development functions.* Lead/oversee product qualification testing (periodic or developmental) as required* Must be able and willing to work in a hands-on environment.* Willing to work with internationally located design support functions.* Excellent verbal and written communications skills through the use of, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Project, Excel.
