<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>We are seeking a PhD-level neuropsychologist or neuroscientist with knowledge of neuroanatomy and experience with multiple MR imaging modalities, specifically, MRI, DTI, and fMRI. This positions primary focus will be on management and quality assurance of neuroimaging, neuropsychological, and clinical data acquired longitudinally in a multi-center study focused on adolescent brain structural and functional development and deviations from normal development related to engagement in alcohol or drug use.  The position will be either at the postdoctoral fellow or research scientist level, depending on the experience and qualifications of the applicant.
This position will also have the opportunity to participate in data analysis, data presentation, and manuscript writing.  As SRI employees, scientists are permitted and in fact encouraged to obtain independent NIH funding as principal investigators.
Primary appointment will be in the Neuroscience Program at SRI International. For postdoc level, a secondary appointment is possible in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Stanford University School of Medicine.
Requirements
PhD in neuroscience or related field.  Must be computer literate, skilled in command line Unix/Linux preferred, have working knowledge of at least one scripting language e.g., Python, Perl, sh. Also requires hands-on MRI experience scanning and/or reading.  Experience with neuroimaging or clinical databases e.g., REDCap, XNAT is a plus, as is general-purpose programming experience e.g., Matlab, R, C++. At least 2 years of postdoctoral experience are required for consideration at the Research Scientist level.
