The PHP Developer designs, develops, maintains and optimizes secure and scalable multi-tier web applications, business reports, monitoring tools, and maintenance scripts. General Responsibilities:Duties & Responsibilities (Additional duties may be assigned)- Writes unit tests and coordinates development with the management and development team(s).- Writes consistent standardized Object-Oriented code that is maintainable, well documented, and scalable.- Deploys applications to process servers on a scheduled basis.- Utilizes version control with SVN.- Writes, optimizes and debugs advanced SQL queries to tune for optimal performance. Job Requirements- High skill level in Object-Oriented PHP and SQL development.- Knowledge of Unix and Apache software- Proficient in Javascript/AJAX/XML.- Knowledge of (X)HTML, CSS and Javascript.- Knowledge in Database Management Systems, preferably PostgreSQL- Able to work with minimal supervision, strong work ethic; effective oral and written communication skills.- Ability to solve complex, multi-dimensional problems.- High level understanding of internet services, such as SOAP, XMLRPC, Web services, etc.- Experience with LAMP (Linux/Unix, Apache, MySQL, PHP).- Ability to understand Rapid Development processes (RAD, Agile) and work within them.- Has excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills.- Strong communication skills.- Self starter.- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines.Please apply with resume to laoc@semeprllc.com
