JOB SUMMARY:

Ability to lead others with a team focus
Good business acumen
Proficient in Solidworks 3D modeling and rendering
Conceptual design layout, prototyping, fixture/tooling design.
Material selection/specifications.
Knowledgeable of low-cost Asian component suppliers
Excellent communication skills are needed to contribute effectively in cross-functional teams
Familiarity with Electro-Mechanical connectors
Understanding of GDT
Education should be BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering and 3 years in relevant experience.
Knowledge of plastic part design for moldability, mold flow analyst etc.
Must have a strong ability to work independently and multitask
Work with customers and vendors on new product designs
Ability to work in a volume production environment with demanding schedules
Knowledge of printed circuit board assembly processes
Some knowledge of printed circuit board fabrication processes
