Superior Technical Resources is seeking a
Mechanical Engineer for a Temp to Perm position at
our clients site located in Milpitas, Ca.
RESPONSIBILITIES The candidate will develop high
precision rotary stages and military grade
enclosures for our inertial systems. This includes
the design of precision mechanical structure and
micro rotary stages in the milli-radian and
micrometer level accuracy and stability. You must
be able to design precision sensor mounting
structures and metal enclosures. For asset
tracking solutions, expertise with injection
molded plastics enclosures and RF compatibility is
required. The best candidates will have solid
experience with developing highly optimized
embedded systems and experience in production
methods such as molding, machining and casting.

Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications *Bachelors
Degree *5 years of design and development
experience Preferred Skills / Qualifications
Minimum Bachelors Degree in ME or equivalent,
M.S. preferred 5+ years of design and development
experience Background and experience in rotary
stage design Proficient in SolidWorks Ability to
support the full development life cycle for a
shipping product including testing and QA Passion
for mechanical design and aesthetics Ability to
create designs that can be cost effectively mass
manufactured Excellent teamwork skills,
flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
concurrently Experience various enclosure
materials, molds, machining, etc. Quality
oriented, do it right the first time mentality
Experience with designing enclosures for
RF/wireless systems Experience mechanical and
environmental certifications Experience with
analysis of structural vibration and mitigation
design Familiarity working with integrated sensors
and antennas Experience with ProE Familiarity with
MIL standards Flexibility ability to juggle
multiple projects on various platforms as needed
