Direct phone-based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries.Primary Responsibilities:* Supervises the daily activities and tasks of Pharmacists/employees related to fulfillment of prescription orders.* Monitors operations of business unit and actively assists and provides direction to subordinates as required using standard policies, procedures and guidelines.* Prioritizes and coordinates work, provides leadership to and reviews the work of assigned staff.* Maintains and reviews most effective scheduling of staff to meet the needs and goals of business unit; assigns workload to staff to meet completion dates/deadlines.* Works to optimize standardized procedures and improve efficiency of subordinates.* Performs or assists subordinates in performing duties and resolving problems.* Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.* Analyzes, researches and prepares various reports for management on assigned topics as needed.* Interviews, hires new employees, ensures appropriate training, conducts performance reviews, counsels employees and takes appropriate disciplinary action.* Interprets physicians'' prescriptions and creates order, accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer system.* Work with peers/staff from other facilities to create, modify and ensure standardized procedures .* Oversees, reviews and handles escalated issues.* Other duties and projects as assigned by management* Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit.* Impact of work is most often at the team level.Qualifications:Requirements:* High School Diploma/GED required* 3 years of customer service experience (i.e. analyzing and solving customer problems, handling escalated member issues, a small amount of project work, etc.)* Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook or similar tool (Word - creating documents and templates; Excel - creating spreadsheets and simple pivot tables; Outlook or similar tool - emailing, calendaring, etc.)Assets:* 1 year of team lead/supervisory experience (i.e. someone who previously/currently possesses at least 10 direct reports, someone who possesses the ability to approve timesheets, coaching and developing employees, performance management, etc.)OptumRxis part of the family of companies that makeUnitedHealth Groupone of the leaders across most major segments of the US health care system.If you''re ready to talk about groundbreaking interactions, let''s talk about what happens when a firm that touches millions of lives decides to gather results from millions of prescriptions every month and analyze their impact.
