The Sales Support Supervisor will work directly with the Regional Administration Manager (RAM) and Regional/Sales Managers to provide oversight and ensure excellence andconsistency in business processes. This role will coordinate workflow and evaluate processes in each office; serve as a point of escalation for service and operational issues as well as business continuity; develop and maintain relationships with Home Office key contacts from allfunctional business areas; facilitate training for team members, assist in acquiring and developing talent, and manage talent through coaching, education and leadership. This role will ensure that standard practices are consistently applied in each office including timely adoption of changing processes, technology and policies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Coordinate workflow of Sales Support to ensure business needs are meeting company expectations.* Coordinate allocation of resources to meet peak demands throughout the territory.* Analyze and report on Support Team performance metrics.* Implement the strategic vision of the Regional Management Team.* Serve as point of escalation on new and in-force business issues within regional office; roll summary of issues up to the RAM so that regional trends can be captured and addressed.* Talent & Performance Management of Sales Support to ensure consistent knowledge base and sales focus. * Create and maintain an active pipeline of sales support talent in conjunction with the RAM. Collaborate with the RAM and Human Resources on recruitment efforts including identifying key talent, coordinating applicant assessments and conducting interviews.* Ensure that new sales support staff is well trained and developed. Conduct ongoing coaching/mentoring/training activities to develop support staff to their fullest potential.* Ensure that support staff is motivated to succeed and recognized for accomplishments.* Identify and recommend process improvements for regional office operation. * Partner with Regional/Sales Managers to ensure positive relationships between support staff and sales staff.* Establish collaborative relationships with Sales Support Supervisors across region and Home Office partners* Participate in office level production as needed during period of high volume and demand.* Attend broker/client meetings as needed to represent Field Support.* Ensure that the consistent and timely communication of changes and events is taking place across the entire Sales Support team.* Keep current on industry trends and communicate accordingly with the Sales Support team.* Appropriate management of PTO, Overtime, and Timecard entry of Sales Support Team.ADDITIONAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES* Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines.
