<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Program Manager - Intelligent Systems Research & Development  (Job Number:310540)Description:SAIC has an opportunity for a Program Manager supporting Intelligent Systems Research & Development located at Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA.JOB DESCRIPTION:Serves as the contractor''s principal point of contact to the Government for all matters concerning contract / program / technical. Position is responsible for all program / technical support and operations, particularly for those involving multiple projects/task assignments and personnel at diverse locations. Will direct project team personnel, manage cost and schedule, ensure contract compliance, technical quality, monitoring / reporting as well as serve as principal customer interface.Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and execution of all program/technical support activities. Simultaneously plans and manages the transition of multiple, highly technical projects and tasks. Establishes and alters (as necessary) management structure in response to dynamic and often short-turnaround requirements to effectively direct program/technical support activities accordingly. Meets regularly and confers with Government Task Requestors and management regarding the status of specific contractor program/technical activities and problems, issues, or conflicts and provide leadership in their resolution.Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates and subcontractors and ensures assignments are completed as directed. Enforces work, quality, and safety standards and reviews/resolves work discrepancies to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Interfaces with the contractors Program Manager as well as Government management personnel including, but not limited to, the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer''s Technical Representative. Reports in writing and orally to contractor management and Government representatives.Qualifications:REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Master''s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a relevant technical field is required. Advanced degree (PhD) preferred for this position. Positions requires least 8 years of successful Project or Program Manager experience. Should have at least 15 years of project experience working on projects and programs in positions of increasing responsibility. PMP
