Work with facility leadership to develop and implement measures to ensure Quality standards are met and reduce or eliminate non-conformance.Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/D/VWe maintain a drug-free workplaceDuties: Summary of Duties/Responsibilities* Conduct Quality inspections/audits of all facility operations and services* Utilize related prior experience, as well as, work with other wheel shops to identify and implement best practices (e.g. Lean & 5S) that improves the performance of the wheel shop* Train and facilitate activities to drive cost reduction, improve quality and safety* Serve as lead investigator regarding any quality issues and be a catalystfor implementation of other programs and services at the Mojave Wheel Shop.* Identify the Root Cause, as well as, preventive & corrective action plans.* Participate/coordinate the Safe Start / Safe Track training and certification program in conjunction with operations leadership* Champion the facility''s EHS program, including all approved, related continuing education and administration to comply with local, state, federal and company requirements* Identify best solutions and train employees to ensure the overalleffectiveness and sustainment of the company''s Quality program* Supports the PRS management on customer and/or regulatory audits.* Perform in leadership roles to deliver significant improvement in operational performance and processes.Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:* Prefer a college degree and related work experience* A minimum of two years'' experience in Quality, Continuous Improvement in a heavy manufacturing or railroad environment* Proficiency in MS Office software* Familiarity with some of the following:COMPETENCIESMaintains and implements industry and regulatory best practices to proactively manage Quality. Actively deploys policies and practices to enhance Quality and eliminate non-conformance. Must be accountable for improvement of Quality standards.
