Duties will vary depending upon the project, and skill level of the applicant, but may include developing research designs, performing literature reviews, collecting field data, conducting interviews, surveys and focus groups, performing statistical and qualitative analyses, writing technical reports and briefing materials, and briefing stakeholders. Work setting is a government site with both civil service and contractor behavioral scientists working in small teams.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />Basic Qualifications: Individual will have a Ph.D. in a behavioral science field such as psychology or sociology and have demonstrated the ability to conduct independent research in an applied setting. Excellent writing skills are essential and would be evidenced by published technical reports and publications in refereed journals. The ability to present project information to senior military officials and policy makers is critical. Good organizational skills, time management, attention to detail and high standards of quality are essential. The individual must have the ability to work independently and to collaborate with internal and external partners. Knowledge of employment, privacy, and/or health law is desired. The position offers excellent growth potential. U.
