The Production Assembler engages in the production or processing of goods.PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS1.specifications to complete manufacturing process.Assembles and installs components to units and printed circuit boards in accordance with2.replacement of component parts to ensure conformance to specifications.Inspects units during production process and implements appropriate adjustments, repairs, orSECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS3.Tests wiring installations, assemblies to identify operational defects.4.5.Connects electrical wiring according to circuit diagram.Assists other departments as needed.OTHER DUTIESOther duties may be assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSNo prior experience required.Dependability and reliability.OFFICE EQUIPMENT/MACHINESHand tools used on the job.PHYSICAL DEMAND:Ability to sit for extended periods up to 80% of time.Job requires standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, or lifting up to 20 pounds 20% of time.Ability to work for long periods using magnifying lights and focusing on small objects up to 80% oftime.WORK ENVIRONMENTExposure to glues, epoxy, and isopropyl alcohol 100% of time.Use of latex/non-latex gloves and finger cots.
