Responsibilities Symantec is seeking a
Sales Specialist to become part of the Advanced
Technology Sales team focused on Managed Security
Services MSS with responsibility over the Large
Enterprise and Enterprise business in Illinois,
Iowa and Wisconsin.
The candidate will be responsible for both New
and Renewal MSS quota carrying opportunities
within the region and to achieve/exceed MSS
Bookings target.
Other responsibilities include
Build relationships with field account teams to
jointly position MSS opportunities
Articulate MSS value proposition and benefits to
Enterprise and Large Enterprise customers
Overcome basic customer objections
Handle entire customer Sales cycle for MSS from
opportunity management to booking
Participate and assist in marketing initiatives
to generate demand and increase MSS awareness
Ability to sell deep and develop our existing
business. Increase deal size and drive revenue.
Ability to work with the members of various
organizations within Symantec including but not
limited to Sales, Sales Operations, Finance,
Technical Support Operations, Services Marketing,
and Legal
Experience with selling Managed Services
QualificationsQualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent
8-10 years in Sales
Experience with Managed Services, SaaS, or
license sales and a proven track record managing
and overachieving on quota
Excellent Sales Qualification skills
An excellent communicator written, verbal and
presentation skills
Confident and comfortable engaging our senior
and executive management with external customers
Strong people skills with the ability to manage
to all levels in a matrixed sales environment
Self-starter and efficient multi-tasker
Knowledge of practical MS Office applications
including Project, PowerPoint, and Excel
Knowledge of CRM tools such as SFDC
Frequent travel required
Familiarity with Outsourced or Managed Service-
oriented type of business, preferably with an
understanding of Networking and Security
Operations
Strong C-level conversation skills with ability
to effectively demonstrate the ROI and financial
benefits of Symantecs MSS offerings
