who has the experience, drive and skills to
develop and manage buyer-focused go-to-market
strategies for Symantecs Core Security product
portfolio. This role is focused on two main
product marketing functions competitive
intelligence and channel product marketing.
The Symantec Core Security product line provides
companies of all sizes with market-leading
endpoint, server, mail and web security
protection. They are also the foundation of our
Symantec Protection Suites and represent a key
part of Symantecs overall Security portfolio.

Core Responsibilities
Successfully engage with product management,
sales, corporate marketing, sales enablement,
channel and other cross-functional teams to create
competitive materials  both internally and
externally facing  that help Symantec execute go-
to-market strategies that drive revenue growth,
market leadership and awareness
Capture and communicate competitive insights
through primary and secondary market research
Develop compelling content and messages for
partners based on deep insights into target
personas including technical audiences
Guide creation of messaging, campaigns, and asset
maps that accurately target the concerns and
priorities of Symantecs channel partners.
Develop and deliver persuasive presentations
including executive briefings, analyst briefings,
press briefings, industry events, webcasts, and
trade shows
Contribute to partner and channel enablement,
training strategy and content delivery
Work with demand generation and channel marketing
teams on program strategy and content creation for
conferences, trade shows, webcasts, and field
events
Global travel required
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
2+ years experience with product marketing and/or
product management in software or services
Strong ability to determine, communicate and
evangelize strategies and vision
Ability to multi-task and drive to completion a
diverse number of issues
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong business/financial skills and hands-on
customer experience
Proven experience driving large initiatives with
corporate customers
Demonstrated business judgment, leadership and
creative problem solving
Technical understanding of computer software
