Identify, research and target prospective

Create and maintain a sales pipeline of
opportunities within the designated market
segments/territory
Development and maintain a business plan for the
designated market segments/territory
Build board level relationships with prospects
to understand their business needs
Work with internal departments to develop
ongoing business opportunities
Accountability for delivering on primary quota
goals, working collaboratively with the generalist
field sales team
Develop a comprehensive understanding of
business trends and needs requirements of the
relevant vertical market/territory and provide
regular feedback to the company, especially in
terms of new product requirements
Develop and manage referrals from the client
base in order to generate leads and increase the
reference -ability of the client base
Adhere fully with the sales rules of engagement
for transitioning customers from business
development to account management
