Symantec Managed Security Service
DeepSight Threat Intelligence Service MSS  DS
The primary responsibilities of the role are
defined below
The candidate will be responsible for
identifying, developing, and closing new business
across the Intelligence, DoD, and Civilian
government customer base. Some renewal
responsibilities will be included in the role.
Candidates should demonstrate the skills
and experience needed to appropriately articulate
and present Symantecs threat intelligence value
proposition to government executives responsible
for mission critical security programs.
Handle entire TRMG sales cycle from
opportunity management to booking.
Participate and assist in marketing
initiatives to generate demand and increase TRMG
awareness.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date
forecast.
QualificationsProven track record of
closing large seven figure deals within
Intelligence  DoD accounts.
Ideal candidates will have an information
security background with specialization in the
threat intelligence arena.
Top Secret clearance or higher is
preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication
skills.
Bachelors degree or equivalent.
8-10 years in public sector sales.
Proven track record of quota attainment.
Excellent sales qualification skills.
Proficiency with Office applications
including PowerPoint, Excel, Word,  Outlook.
At least 5 years experience managing
forecasts within SFDC or similar tool.
