Responsibilities Own outbound go-to-
market responsibilities for our storage and high
availability products
Successfully engage with product management,
sales, corporate marketing, sales enablement,
channel and other cross-functional teams to define
and execute go-to-market strategies that drive
revenue growth, market leadership and awareness
Capture and communicate insights into servers
and storage buyers by interviewing them to
understand their critical unmet problems and
buying criteria
Develop compelling content and messages for
target buyers based on deep insights into target
personas including technical audiences
Guide creation of messaging, campaigns, and
asset maps that accurately target buyers concerns
and priorities
Develop and deliver persuasive presentations
including executive briefings, analyst briefings,
press briefings, industry events, webcasts, and
trade shows.
Plan and manage fully integrated
solution/product launches
Contribute to partner and channel enablement,
training strategy and content delivery
Work with demand generation and field marketing
teams on program strategy and content creation for
conferences, trade shows, webcasts, and field
events
Drive industry research into data center trends
and technologies including cloud and server
virtualization
Develop community program to engage current
customer base and reseller community to drive
renewal sales
Global travel required
Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent,
MBA preferred
3-5 years experience with product marketing
and/or product management in software preferred,
but not required. Atypical experience like
consulting or banking is welcome.
Strong ability to determine, communicate and
evangelize strategies and vision
Ability to multi-task and drive to completion a
diverse number of issues
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong business/financial skills and hands-on
customer experience
Proven experience driving large initiatives with
corporate customers
Demonstrated business judgment, leadership and
creative problem solving
Technical understanding of computer software
