Requisition for approval
Work with product management, sales, corporate
marketing, enablement, channel and other cross-
functional teams to define and execute the
strategies that drive revenue growth, market
leadership and awareness
Interview target buyers to understand their
critical unmet problems and buying criteria
Conduct qualitative win/loss interviews and report
actionable findings
Build and leverage buyer personas that guide
cross-functional teams to consistently deliver
compelling, differentiated programs and messages
Plan and manage fully-integrated solution/product
launches
Develop concise, persuasive field enablement tools
that drive revenue growth for direct and indirect
channels -- competitive analysis, demos,
collateral, whitepapers, web content, etc.
Develop and deliver persuasive internal and
external presentations
Create product and theme-based content for global
campaigns
Contribute to partner and channel enablement,
training strategy and content delivery
Work with demand generation and field marketing
teams on program strategy and content creation for
conferences, trade shows, webcasts, and field
events
Be a product line spokespersonfor executive
briefings, analyst briefings, press briefings,
industry events, webcasts, tradeshows, etc.
Build positive relationships with industry
analysts. Build content for analyst briefings and
inquiry calls
Relentlessly measure the business impact of
marketing programs
Global travel required
Qualifications
5+ years experience with outbound marketing and/or
product management in information technology
experience with data protection, or storage
management preferred
Startup or growth market experience- ability to
take on something completely new and grow it into
larger business.
Excellent storyteller -- strong and creative
written, oral and presentation skills
Ability to quickly build rapport with customers,
partners, sales and marketing teams
Entrepreneurial, winning, can-do philosophy
Proven ability to deliver measurable results --
strong desire to engage with the team and make it
happen
Thinks like a marketer and has a deep
understanding of enterprise sales process, channel
and customer buying behavior for software
Experience developing sales tools that drive
competitive wins
Proven results leading successful integrated
product launches with measurable results
Partner, channel, and/or international experience
a strong plus
