JOB SUMMARY:

train them regarding building energy consuming
systems, advanced technologies, construction
methods and industry practices
Lead a team of junior engineers and provide
guidance in how to do energy and demand
assessments of buildings and processes, including
the use of DOE2 and other analytical tools
Conduct facility energy audits
Identify opportunities for energy savings and
demand reduction
Complete technical and financial analysis
Prepare clearly written and well documented
reports and proposals
Perform site-specific engineering analysis and
evaluation of energy efficiency projects and
programs involving industrial process equipment,
such as pumps, fans and compressed air systems,
complex central plant systems and advanced HVAC
equipment
Perform building energy use assessments and
building simulations using software packages such
as eQuest, DOE2.2, EnergyPro, etc
Manage large-scale, onsite industrial data
collection project
Monitor industry standard practice and trends,
ENERGY STAR, ASHRAE/IECC updates, and
federal/local regulations for impact on energy
efficiency program measures
What Were Asking
A bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent
required MBA is desired
PE is required. CEM and LEED AP certification and
experience with end-use metering instrumentation
is extremely desirable
10+ years of relevant experience
A proven track record in the energy engineering
field is preferred, along with project management
and project design experience
Deep understanding of construction methods and
industry practices
Ability to handle client and internal
communications involving sensitive issues
Extensive subject matter expertise in the
construction industry, energy-efficiency
technologies, and utility energy-efficiency
program environment
Experience with industrial processes desired
