<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Requisition ID:52528- Organization: BSII- Location: Oakland, CA- Closing Date: November 23, 2012DO NOT APPLY HERE (you will not be considered).GO TO www.krsjv.com AND APPLY TO POSITION # 033543.Job Duties:- Duties require a moderate experience level including some clerical and processing of procurement activities under supervision.- Maintenance and administration of stock codes to include:- Review system generated recommendations to buy- Generate requirements to Material Release- Create new stock codes- Review imminent use by report- Archive obsolete stock codes- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained- Manage shelf life sensitive items- Preparation of stock code files.- Identifies and develops new vendors.- Coordinates requirements with end users, warehouse and vendors.- Assists Senior team members with supply chain management actions.- Prepares purchase order files.- Prepares bid (FRQ/RFP) packages.- Prepares, places and posts award processing of Credit Card orders.- Bids, awards, and administers small to moderate (<$25k) purchase orders.- Assists in bid, evaluation, negotiation, award, and administration of small to moderate (>$25k<$500k) purchase orders.- Administers small to moderate size blanket purchase order agreements.- Assists in administration of large blanket purchase order agreements.- Assists in preparing reports.- Maintains files.- Solves routine problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.- Work is supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions.- Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities. Errors may have an effect on the organization.- Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, other personnel in the action or group, and internal/external customers.- Performs other related duties as assigned.JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:- Required:- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business systems.- Moderate knowledge of industry supply chain management practices and standards.- Familiar with computerized procurement and inventory systems.- Limited working knowledge of FAR requirements.- Moderate knowledge of the unique aspects of inventory planning and control processes utilizing inventory systems and data flows to support planned and unplanned requirement decisions.- Ability to be detail oriented, capable of multi-tasking, and to prioritize assignments.- Good verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with internal & external customers.- Ability to work effectively, professionally and courtesously as team member.- Desired:   N/AEXPERIENCE (Years):- Required: 3 years related purchasing experience in a government environment..- Desired:- 4+ years, with 1+ year FAR experience.- Food service/retail grocery experience.EDUCATION:- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.- Desired:   Related Bachelor''s Degree.Bechtel is among the most respected engineering, procurement, and construction companies in the world.
