<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>This person MUST have the flexibility to work the following schedule:* Week 1: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM until 2:30 PM* Week 2: On-call daily (including weekends) from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PMGENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:Transports equipment, supplies, and documents to and from Hospitals and other licensed off-site facilities ("Acute Facility") as required and in accordance with DaVita and Acute Facility policies, procedures, and the DaVita Acute Services agreement with the Acute Facility. Insures adequate and appropriate volume of supplies is on-site at the Acute Facilities. May also be responsible for the collection of environmental water samples or culture samples, as trained.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Operates a motor vehicle according to all applicable traffic laws.Immediately informs AFA of any motor vehicle accidents or citations that occurs while working or on personal time.Maintains supply inventory at all assigned locations and replenishes as necessary.Rotates inventory on a first in first out basis and ensures that supplies do not expire. Maintains supply inventory at all assigned locations and replenishes as necessary.Transports equipment and supplies from location to location. Notifies the appropriate Acute Facility personnel whenever new equipment is being brought into the Acute Facility.Retrieves billing related paperwork from hospitals and delivers it to the Acute program Office.May perform water and endotoxin sampling on equipment as instructed.May disinfect acute equipment according to policy and procedure.May participate in an on-call schedule.PLANNING, COORDINATING, AND ORGANIZING:Organizes supply inventory at assigned Acute Facilities to insure supplies and equipment necessary for services are always available for clinical teammates.Organizes and maintains the Acute Facility storage rooms in a clean and safe manner.Transports cultures and endotoxin water analysis specimens to the appropriate DaVita clinic.
