We have an immediate opening for an energetic, self-starting Managing Supervisor/Vice President to join our corporate reputation team. The position is based in Irvine, California.This is an exciting career opportunity for a public relations professional who has a strong corporate communications background to join a dynamic group doing innovative work for a range of clients, primarily focusing on the convergence of the healthcare and technology industries. This role will work in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team on corporate positioning and reputation management, internal communications, and crisis and issues management. Our ideal candidate must have a background that demonstrates a high level of aptitude for understanding the complex nature of healthcare technology and related issues, and solid knowledge of and experience working in the Orange County market.Responsibilities include:* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, managing and executing programs for Fortune 100, mid-sized and start-up companies, and advancing corporate communications strategies in the medical technology industry. * Candidate will work with teams both locally and across network to help lead in identifying opportunities for new business, and develop strategies and teams that result in winning business. * Scope of work will also include responsibility for managing campaign cycles – from planning and development to execution and measurement – and supervising the work of account team members by setting priorities, delegating responsibilities and maintaining deadlines.* Drive communications campaigns with healthcare and trade media; develop strong traditional and social media relationships as well as relationships with third-party influencers.Qualifications:* An experienced (7-10 years) communications professional engaged in client counseling, new business development and strategic program development.* Experience in leading accounts on behalf of healthcare clients required.* Individual must have experience in managing project outcomes and materials, timelines and budgets, as well as prioritizing and taking initiative and ownership of ideas, programs and clients.* A combination of agency and corporate experience is ideal.* Solid knowledge of national and industry-specific media, with highly-developed skills in building and maintaining media relationships.* Demonstrated experience in developing and leading public relations plans, and the ability to create and implement strategic communications programs within budget.* Excellent writing abilities with demonstrable experience in all forms of corporate and executive communication, from business media news releases to executive talking points.* Ability to illustrate a results-focused approach and commitment to clients. Experience managing client relationships as well as day-to-day activities.* A multichannel communicator and integrator of media strategies across several channels, specifically earned, shared and owned.* Excellent interpersonal skills, works effectively in a team environmen
