Calculate dimensions and tolerances using shop math and all types of inspection instruments such as:a. Micrometers, Calipers, Depth Micrometers and Protractorsb. Be able to use surface plate for all types of set-upc. Comparatorsd. Set-up and operate bore gagese. Understand sign plates and gage blocks2. Interprets and reads engineering drawings, company and customer specifications to ensure accurate parts manufacturing.3. Must be able to perform visual inspection with regards to all finish types such as:a. Brush finishesb. Painted surfacesc. Chemical treated surfaces4. Perform inspections of incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering and purchase orders.5. Perform in-process inspection of parts being manufactured with accuracy.6. Must have a full understanding of Lean and Process Improvement.7. Must be able to share knowledge and train team members when needed.8.
