VTG, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volt Information Sciences, Inc., an international corporation with major operations in the U.S. The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions of many different contracts to capture and implement agreed-upon business concepts with customers and suppliers. This includes drafting and modifying contract language, analyzing contract liabilities, and providing support, analysis and responses within stringent time frames in order to meet deadlines. This position requires significant field interaction on a national level and on-going communication with senior managers.Requirements:Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years contracts experience within a service industry including drafting contract terms from scratch, identification of issues, negotiation of terms and project management. Demonstrated experience building processes around contract review and improvements is ideal. Extensive background working with internal and external clients, providing deadline driven results is necessary to be successful in this role and a background in a Government Contracts environment with knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is a plus. Intermediate to advanced level Word, Excel, Access and Power Point proficiency is required. A Bachelor''s degree in business or related discipline is required.
