<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The Financial PeopleSoft Applications and Report Specialist, as a reporting analyst, is responsible for the creation, design and support of Financial Services FS functional reporting and analysis needs. Responsible for assisting the FS department users with interpreting PeopleSoft financial data system reports coordinating with the FS users to determine the best system report data to meet their needs and creating financial reports. Successfully assists team members to ensure they are correctly gathering and interpreting the various financial data components. Responsible for validating information in newly created reports testing, preparing user specific documentation, and serving as primary liaison in creating ad hoc reports and queries to facilitate analysis and trouble shooting of financial data. As an application specialist, provides functional and tier one technical support to key clients on the current ERP systems, including upgrade support, testing, development and business process design and maintenance of the PeopleSoft Finance/Accounting/Student Financial modules. Serves as a facilitator and technical resource for responding to and troubleshooting reported problems pertaining to the People Soft Financial Application modules including facilitating additional support with IST support when needed. Facilitates continuous improvement in system efficiences and interface with companion systems, such as Hyperion, TouchNet and other applications, to meet the Finance/Accounting/Student Financial/eCommerceTouchNet users and organizational information and reporting needs. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required A minimum of two year experience in providing applications support, data management and report development, preferably of PeopleSoft Financial modules, and a bachelors degree in computer science, management information systems, finance or accounting. Or an equivalent combination in education and experience. Strong functional working knowledge of general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable and other financial service processes, with the ability to conceptualize and apply business needs and processes into actionable solutions. Experience in setup and maintenance of one or more recently released PeopleSoft Suites such as, FSCM 9.x, EPM 9.x, PeopleTools 8.x. Experience implementing and managing PeopleSoft application suite, with understanding of Peoplesofts internet architecture, user security, tool patches/fixes, upgrade methodologies and best practices. Demonstrated ability analyzing and troubleshooting software systems and correcting design changes. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple assignments and priorities. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, with technical and non-technical users, managers, vendors, and consultants. Experience working in producing quality deliverables and meeting project schedules. Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy, and to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to demonstrate self-initiative as well as to work well as a team.
