Job Objective
Quality programs include adherence to the Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement, HACCP, GMP and GAP programs, and internal and external audit requirements. To include day to day activities require the use of initiative and judgment, particularly when prioritizing work.  Inspects, maintains, repairs, assembles. overhauls and works with other mechanized equipment. Works under general supervision, with some independence. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May lead and direct the work of others to include outside sanitation contractor.  Responsible for keeping machines, mechanical equipment and/or the structure of the company in working order.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-sanitation machinery maintenance and covering
Pre-sanitation chemical effectiveness testing
Daily review of master-sanitation schedule
Pre-Operational ATP testing
Pre-Operational uncovering of machinery
Pre-Operational notations
Pre-Operational layout of foot dips and hand dips etc.
Pre-Operational environmental testing with 3rd party sampler.
Attend sampler training
Communicate clearly and immediately results of findings.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures in all forms.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the produce industry a plus.
Ability to execute basic Microsoft Excel spreadsheets a plus.
Ability to use voice and data communication.
Some English a plus.
Must speak Spanish
Basic welding skills a plus.
Able to lift 25  50 pounds over head.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating with managers,
and employees.
