Nurse the Pediatric Nursing Supervisor has primary
clinical responsibility for the Mount Zion Primary
Care Practice. S/he oversees clinical operations
of Teen Clinic and Pediatric Primary Care. S/he
works with providers and staff to develop,
monitor, and continuously improve systems
pertaining to all aspects of patient care. S/he
supervises all clinical staff including LVNs, and
Hospital Assistants, facilitating positive
interactions with providers, patients, and other
departments. In the supervisory role, s/he works
to establish and promote teamwork among practice
staff. The Nursing Supervisor will provide and
organize clinical support for Faculty, residents
and Nurse Practitioners within the practice and
take the lead role in integrating all aspects of
the clinical session in order to ensure timeliness
and efficiency of each patient visit. S/he works
with the leadership team to identify opportunities
for improved practice operations. S/he works with
the staff to develop, monitor and maintain systems
pertaining to all aspects of nursing care. S/he
supervises all clinical staff, facilitating
positive interaction among staff, patients and
other departments within the Medical Center.
Assist with maintaining operations and facilities
in a state of continuous readiness for regulatory
inspections.
