Cable Technicians work both inside and outside and are responsible for the installation and customer care of the new fiber optic system, high speed internet, and voice services.
What youll do as a Cable Technician
Educate customers on service features and functionality
Install and rearrange inside wires
Verify all services working correctly
Possibly work in confined spaces or aloft up to 28ft
Work with hand tools
Work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
Company provides Smart Phone, Laptop, Meters, and Materials. Eligible for benefits after 90 days, which include Medical, Dental, Life, Vision, and Supplemental Insurance. We also offer an Employee Referral Program. Excellent opportunity of the right individual.
Pay Rate Highly Competitive Unit Rates. $8.00 hour salary + commissions ranging from $10-$20 per hour.
Requirements
Valid CA drivers license and non-negligent driving record
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Previous cable TV/Satellite TV Installation experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Satisfactory results from a background/employment history investigation and drug screening.
Qualification on pre-employment screening.
Ability to perceive differences in wire and cable colors.
Must have own truck, van, or SUV with certified ladder rack.
Must have 28ft fiberglass ladder V-rung  Hooks, 6ft fiberglass ladders, and climbing belt.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
