Plans and conducts continuing education program in diabetes for professionals and the general public. Collaborates with other educators and providers in the areas of program development, implementation, marketing and review of clinical programs/services. Participates in the development of education curricula and materials by writing original material and/or reviewing the work of others. Participates in case management, and patient care planning and goal setting. Provide diabetes education services and general diabetes self-management education (DSME) to patients and families, care partners and community.Required:           Graduate of an accredited school of nursing              Current California RN license           Current Certified Diabetic Educator, or actively achieving eligibilityDemonstrated commitment to excellence in diabetes education . Academic preparation and/or experiential preparation in program management. Academic preparation and/or experiential preparation in the care of persons with chronic disease.    Preferred:           BSN preferred
