JOB SUMMARY:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to scanning and electronic filing of medical records received from outside health care entities, and responding promptly to requests for medical records for purposes of treatment, payment, or healthcare operation TPO by authorized internal and external customers.
Requires high school diploma or equivalent. 6 months experience in a medical group/office. Medical records experience preferred. Moderate to advanced computer skills. Working knowledge of scanning and medical technology. Ability to file accurately using electronic, alphabetical, numeric, and color-coded systems. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Good interpersonal communication skills. Valid California drivers license and proof of automobile insurance.
