Responsible for designing and maintaining the department's quality assurance program related to radiation safety, linear accelerator calibrations and performance, radioactive materials calibration and maintenance, three-dimensional treatment planning accuracy and performance, and monitoring the performance of peers and subordinates. In addition, responsible also for the commissioning and acceptance testing of new equipment and technical procedures, participating in peer review and keeping current on current and future technological developments within the field.These services further the vision of Desert Regional Medical Center create unique environments, where patients, their families, doctors and staff come together to achieve longer and better lives in the fight against cancer.Required:
